Washington, D.C. Regional Fellowship Alumni and Recruitment Event

You’re Invited to NRI’s Regional Fellowship Alumni and Recruitment Event
Featuring NRI Fellow Ramesh Ponnuru

Join the D.C. Regional Fellowship Program for a cocktail reception and talk by Ramesh Ponnuru. Alumni are encouraged to bring a guest who meets the criteria for the program!

Ramesh will speak about the current debates over capitalism and free markets. Some intellectuals believe that major changes need to be made to our economic order despite historically strong employment rates and growing wages. However, Ramesh argues that capitalism does not need to be overthrown or even rethought. Rather, the principles that make markets work need to be applied to some areas where they have not been present. He will make the case that our economic system does not need dismantling, but it does require invigoration.

The goals of National Review Institute’s Regional Fellowship program are two-fold: first, to impart a deeper understanding of the foundations of conservative thought and secondly, to build a network of talented, like-minded individuals who can assist one another professionally and personally for years to come. Each class is comprised of 20 to 25 mid-career professionals who represent a wide variety of professions and industries outside public policy. Fellows should have between 10 and 25 years of professional work experience. This program is not for recent graduates or people working in the fields of public policy or politics. LEARN MORE HERE
