2024 Alaska Cruise

June 16-23, 2024
Plus optional Denali National Park Tour, June 12-15

Few cabins remain! Register today.

The programming schedule can be found below.

NRI’s Alaska cruise is taking place from June 16 to 23 aboard Holland America’s Noordam.

New this year, NRI’s cruise will feature special programming for teens in grades 6 through 12, including 3 dinners with speakers and 4 one-hour private sessions:

  • the American founding and the importance of the American Constitution
  • Civics: what does it mean to be a citizen
  • Communism vs. Socialism
  • Free-Market Economics

For the rest of the group…

It’s a conference retreat on a cruise ship! NRI will offer dynamic educational programming alongside opportunities to interact and dine with our stellar speakers. The Main Stage Conference Forum will feature one-on-one interviews, spirited debates, and panel discussions. We are joined by Rich Lowry, Jim Geraghty, Noah Rothman, Caroline Downey, Kevin Hassett, Amity Shlaes, Thérèse Shaheen, Lee Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards Spalding, Matthew Spalding, and Kayla Bartsch.

And that’s not all: Our cruise programming will also feature topic-specific break-out sessions and one or two book clubs, which will be run by the cruisers themselves.

Burke to Buckley back by popular demand! The cruise will also feature our three-part Burke to Buckley seminars.

Meet the Governor of Alaska! Governor Mike Dunleavy will meet with the NRI cruise guests in a private reception.

Beautiful Alaska: You can see whales and bald eagles, go sea kayaking or helicopter to the top of Mendenhall Glacier, and experience Alaska’s Inside Passage—the protected network of waterways that wind through glacier-cut fjords and lush temperate rain forests along the rugged coast of Southeast Alaska. Consider joining the optional land tour from June 12 to 15 before the cruise.

Cruisers had opportunities at dinner and cocktail parties to meet the speakers and each other. Photos from the cruise can be viewed below and our speakers can list be found here.
