Perspectives on America Today

And the Importance of Culture

“Though liberals do a great deal of talking about hearing other points of view, it sometimes shocks them to learn that there are other points of view.”
— William F. Buckley, Jr. Up From Liberalism.

Join us to hear from and support conservative NR voices! National Review Institute is pleased to announce its 2020 Regional Seminars.

Around the country featuring:

Charles C. W. Cooke • Lindsay Craig • Richard Lowry • Jay Nordlinger
John O’Sullivan • Ramesh Ponnuru • Kyle Smith • Kevin D. Williamson

This year, our topics will include a discussion of the rise of socialism and what we can do to combat it, as well as the importance of positively influencing culture through books, music, film, social media, and the arts—the very things that illuminate the “Books, Arts & Manners” section of National Review magazine. Each seminar will feature a keynote address by NR’s Editor in Chief, Rich Lowry, who will discuss the topic of his new book, The Case for Nationalism: How It Made Us Powerful, United, and Free (Broadside Books, November 2019).
